Garden

Our school plays an important role in maintaining and caring for our Community Garden which is filled with fruit trees and a variety of produce.  Students are given the opportunity to plant, care for and grow products during lunch time with a view to promoting healthy eating and caring for our school environment.

I liked doing lots of planting in the garden and picking things to eat.  It was fun and we got to spend time with other people.

When I didn’t have anything to do at recess and lunch I started going to the community garden and I had fun working with the adults who helped us to dig, plant and pick things.  I made new friends there.
